Optical Metalographical Microscope with Image Analysis Software

Falconmet operates a number of calibrated optical microscopes used for the examination of microstructures with magnifications of up to 3,000X. Our microscopes are equipped with a variety of objective lenses for examination in bright field, dark field, polarized light and NIC (Nomarsky Interference Contrast). The images obtained through the Optical Microscopes are saved to our database and made available to our customers.

 

Our laboratory employs a centralized Image Analysis Center for acquiring images from various Optical and Electron Microscopes. The images are digitally processed according to various mathematical algorithms. Numerous statistical analysis tools are embedded into the software, enabling us to provide our clients with the most appropriate data formats.
